Introduction to judo Kidsfest class
Start to learn judo rolls and falls, try judo ground fighting, just enjoy the physics of judo. (most children need strengthening up & toughening to increase their resilience.) This class is a gentler introduction to Judo but still has typical judo challenges
To try judo please wear long sleeve loose fit clothes, no zips, hard plastic toggles or big buttons, long hair tied back off the collar (like typical in dance class) and finger and toe nails trim and clean thanks, bring a water bottle and expect a challenging workout. Judo has a lot of body building exercise, students become very fit and develop great discipline and focus. (minimum is twice a week for this development) Teacher is Graeme Spinks, 2 x Olympian Judoka, with Commonwealth Games medals, and 7degree black belt
