Important Information

  • All TV2 KidsFest events which require a ticket for entry have booking information listed inside.
  • Many of the ticketed Christchurch events are booked through Ticketek (e.g. coded CB10…) with some through The Court Theatre (e.g. coded CT…). These attract various charges (see below).
  • Free events are not bookable through Ticketek or The Court Theatre, instead contact the individual event organisers.

Parent/Caregiver Tickets

Because of capacity limits, many events require parents/caregivers to also book in advance. They are often free of charge unless stated in the event listing.

Remember to check when you book your kids' tickets!

Event Cancellations

Ticketek Bookings

Ticketek Preferential Booking Period: Thursday 20 May to Tuesday 1 June 2010.
Mail Order Preferential Bookings: Credit card bookings can be made by mail order using the Ticketek Preferential Booking Form. The completed Ticketek Preferential Booking Forms must be received no later than 4pm on Tuesday 1 June 2010.

Mail order bookings incur a one-off booking fee of $8.50.

Please note that because some events have very limited capacity, tickets will be allocated as the bookings are received. Tickets will be mailed when the order is processed. If an event is sold out, you will only be charged for the tickets you receive.

Ticketek Bookings in Person (Box Office):
Visit or call your nearest Ticketek office for the cheapest way to buy TV2 KidsFest Ticketek tickets.

Isaac Theatre Royal and Christchurch Town Hall (Opens 10am Sat 12 June 2010):
A service fee of $1 applies to each ticket priced under $20. For each $20 and over $2 service fee applies.

Buying through any other Ticketek outlet will incur a flat service fee of $6 no matter how many tickets you buy. i.e. one ticket will cost the price of the ticket plus $6 service fee – buy 10 tickets and still only pay $6 service fee.

Ticket Exchanges or Transfers
Ticketek service fees are non-refundable. There will be no exchanges, transfers or refunds on any Ticketek booked event unless the event is cancelled and no alternative event or location is scheduled – or as applies under the Fair Trading Act and Consumer Guarantee Act 1993.

Court Theatre Terms and Conditions
Payment must be made at the time of booking for all TV2 KidsFest events.

If you qualify for any concession discounts you must advise us at the time of booking. Please choose carefully, we do not issue refunds except in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees and the Fair Trading Acts.

Patrons may be required to present the appropriate identification when collecting tickets. Tickets may be posted out to you for a $1.00 charge, or collected from the Court Theatre up until the day of the event, or collected from the door/entry point of the venue from 30 mins prior.

We do not charge booking fees to patrons except for a 50 cent web fee per ticket when booking over the internet.

We are happy to swap tickets for another date/time of the same event up until one working day prior on the physical return of the tickets to the Box Office.

Events not booked through Ticketek are generally open for booking from Thur 21 May unless stated otherwise. Please follow the booking instructions listed with the event.
